During this module, the leader will be able to experience for themselves what it is like being a team member in a team being groomed for high performance, so when they come to develop their own high performance teams they will be able to relate to the emotions the new team will go through during their development.
This module will enable leaders to:-
- understand the culture of a high performance Team
- learn how to benchmark high performance
- identify best fit amongst those available to join the team
- understand the concept of Forming Storming Norming and Performing
- understand a model that enables the team to apply a continuous performance improvement methodology
- enable the team to review their performance in a structured manner
- understand the various dynamics of the team members and the effect they have on the teams effectiveness.
- recognise the effect on the team dynamic by moving people in and out of the team
- recognise the effect a leader has on the teams performance
- raise the performance bar
- introduce the concept of defining exceptional and unacceptable behaviours
- observe the impact on team performance by acting as team coach
